Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic fresher to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the smooth deployment and integration of new features and enhancements into our existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of cloud-based infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to optimize deployment and configuration of our applications and services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and enhancements into existing systems.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment of software updates.
- Work with the team to ensure the security of our systems and infrastructure by implementing best practices for access control, network security, and data protection.
- Document all procedures, processes, and configurations related to infrastructure and systems.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably with experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Puppet, or Python.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Travis CI.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
While we prefer candidates with some level of experience in the field, we welcome fresh graduates who demonstrate a passion for technology and a willingness to learn. As a DevOps Engineer, you will receive training and guidance from our experienced team members to help you grow your skills and succeed in your role.
Service Agreement:
- The Agreement tenure will be for 18 months from the date of joining.
- The company spends considerable effort in training new employees through direct mentoring by senior folks.
- Only candidates willing to commit to 18 months of tenure need to apply.
Warning:
- We understand that despite having state-of-the-art proctoring systems for remote tests, few of the candidates engaging in malpractices go undetected.
- Therefore, on or before the date of joining, all the selected candidates will be administered the pH Test again in person at GeekyAnts’ office in Bangalore prior to joining
